4th Quater - Message and Content

For this class I designed some posters to alert people of the infant mortality rate in the US. According to The New York Times, the infant mortality rate in the US is way higher than many countries in Europe and even higher then many countries considerd from the 3rd World.

I decided to paint pregnant women's bellies to deliver this disturbing message.

Another assignment for that class was titled "The Mapping Project". I created and also acted (:o) in a short animation. My subject was the huge traffic that people from Atlanta have to deal everyday and how hard it is not owning a car in this city. (Side note) After this video I got an automobile for myself.

Along with those projects, Brian Marcus, Hunter Grove and myself worked as a team to brand a very unique project. It's called The Learning Tea. Katrell Christie is the creator of this project and you can find an article about it here.

We designed a logo, a packaging series and a poster set. The focus was on the bennefits for the Darjeeling kids, instead of focusing on the tea itself. By the way, the Darjeeling region produces the best leaves on the planet.
